GNB Evolution

Gnarly Nomad Brand was started in the fall of 2017. After road trippin' out West and experiencing a newfound sense of freedom for the first time in my life, I was inspired to create something. I had no clue what I wanted to really create, I just knew that I needed to express the creativity that nature and encounters with some unique travelers had sparked within me. T-shirts seemed like the best place to start so, I began creating t-shirt designs that reflected my beliefs and experiences with nature.

I always knew that Gnarly Nomad Brand would become something else, I just didn't know what it would be. I tossed around ideas about an eco-friendly clothing line, but knew that it would be nearly impossible to compete with established brands in that space. Not to mention it would take a huge chunk of cash to get started.

Eventually I started thinking about ideas around up-cycled clothing. Over time it evolved into creating accessory products out of unsold thrift store clothing. I decided to start with bracelets, had 500 made, and connected a social cause to every band sold. The next phase of the Gnarly Nomad Brand evolution is under way...

Listen to the sound of the birds. Breathe in the smell of the trees. Then, pay attention to your own breathe in the middle of all this and remember your place. You will walk out of there

The road satisfies a longing deep in their soul that they don’t fully understand. Each new place quenches a thirst, but then leaves them hungry for the next.
